August 25, 2026 — CanSino Biologics Inc. ("CanSinoBIO") announced that its subsidiary, CanSino (Shanghai) Biologics R&D Co., Ltd. ("CanSino Shanghai"), and deepGeneAI (Hangzhou) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. ("deepGeneAI") have signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement for the Joint Development of Personalized mRNA Therapeutic Cancer Vaccines. The agreement provides a framework for the two companies to explore collaboration by leveraging their respective strengths in mRNA vaccine technologies and tumor neoantigen discovery and design.

The proposed collaboration would span global markets and focus on the potential application of personalized mRNA therapeutic cancer vaccines in gastrointestinal solid tumors and rare tumors. It is expected to cover key stages from early-stage research and clinical translation to regulatory submission and commercialization. CanSino Shanghai would contribute its capabilities in mRNA vaccine delivery systems, formulation, R&D and manufacturing, while deepGeneAI would leverage its AI-driven tumor neoantigen discovery and design platform to support neoantigen prediction, screening, and mRNA sequence design and optimization.

mRNA is one of the key technology platforms in CanSinoBIO's innovation pipeline. The Company is developing both mRNA prophylactic vaccines and therapeutic biological products, while continuing to explore related delivery technologies. In the therapeutic area, CanSinoBIO is advancing early-stage research into mRNA vaccines for indications including glioblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma and cervical cancer, as well as In Vivo CAR-based therapies. These programs are currently at an early stage of development.

In the area of delivery technologies, CanSinoBIO has developed a next-generation three-component lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery system, ISL-3C-LNP, based on its proprietary ionizable sterol lipid (ISL) compound. The Company continues to explore the potential of mRNA delivery technologies in immunotherapy and other therapeutic applications, providing a technology platform for the development of its mRNA pipeline.

The framework agreement marks an opportunity for CanSinoBIO and deepGeneAI to explore complementary capabilities in the emerging field of personalized mRNA cancer vaccines. Going forward, the two parties will explore further collaboration based on clinical needs and the progress of relevant programs, with the potential to accelerate research and clinical translation and contribute to the development of more precise cancer treatment approaches for patients worldwide.
