CanSino Biotech Inc. won the title of “Key Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurial Team”. CanSino’s Chairman & CEO, Dr. Xuefeng Yu, today received the award certificate from Ms Haifeng Li, Director of State Council for Overseas Chinese Affairs Office (COCAO) on behalf of the company at the award ceremony in Hangzhou. As part of the award, CanSino will also receive funding from Development Support Foundation. 

The “Key Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurial Team” award is intended to encourage more overseas high-level talents to return by supporting the establishment and development of start-ups. The 50 teams selected in the second batch this year are engaged in industries covering energy-saving environmental protection, information technology, biotechnology, new energy, new materials and other strategic emerging industries. More than 80% of the team leaders hold a doctorate degree.
