CanSino GMP pilot production base was inaugurated in the Biopharm Park, West District, TEDA. The ceremony was hosted by CanSino Biotech Inc. and Tianjin Joint Academy of Biotechnology and Medicine (TJAB), and organized by TEDA 

Science & Technology Development Group. Officials from China National Center for Biotechnology Development (CNCBD), Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission (TMSTC), Binhai New District and TEDA, as well as representatives from business partners and colleagues witnessed this significant milestone in CanSino’s history.

The ceremony started with an opening remark from TJAB and a brief introduction of CanSino, followed by speeches given by officials from CNCBD, TMSTC, and Binhai New District Government. They all spoke highly of CanSino’s R&D capability and its progress. They mentioned that CanSino is the only vaccine company in China led by entrepreneurial management team members with extensive experience in world-leading vaccine producers. They are very pleased to see oversea returnees make contributions to the public health in China. They believe that CanSino will continue to grow rapidly and become one of the leaders in the Chinese vaccine industry.
